Bus-Tech, Inc. provides two appliances that connect StorageTek FlexLine online storage systems product mainframe environments via FICON or ESCON connections.

The Mainframe Appliance for Storage (MAS) emulates 3480 and 3490 tape drives. It uses the FlexLine series as the repository to store mainframe tape dataset images.
